Students raise money for The Phoenix School through several projects that are an integral part of their curriculum:

• Haunted Happenings games
• Readathon sponsors
• Valentines’ Day businesses

10% of the proceeds from these events goes into the students’ EarlyAct Club Young Philanthropists’ Fund. At the end of the year the whole school considers a variety of charities and their needs in order to decide together how to give away the money they raised.

In addition, the EarlyAct Club sponsored by the Salem Rotary Club runs an Ink Cartridge Recycling program and collects change monthly to support Pennies for Peace to build schools in Pakistan and Change For Changing Lives to support Harvest of Hope St. Joseph Food Pantry. EarlyAct officers made regular presentations to Rotary.
