Students raise money for The Phoenix School through several projects that are an integral part of their curriculum:

• Haunted Happenings games
• Readathon sponsors
• Valentines’ Day businesses

10% of the proceeds from these events goes into the students’ EarlyAct Club Young Philanthropists’ Fund. At the end of the year the whole school considers a variety of charities and their needs in order to decide together how to give away the money they raised.

In addition, the EarlyAct Club is running a Ink Cartridge Recycling program. EarlyAct officers made a presentation to Rotary to seek support of area businesses.  They are working with Rotarian Bill Keilbasa to coordinate efforts with his company.
