• ING Unsung Heroes award for innovative and progressive thinking in education
• DCAT “Making a Difference” award for excellence in middle school science – Drug, Chemical, & Associated Technology Association and National Science Teachers Association
• 10 Years, 100 Milestones award for heritage education and outreach – Essex National Heritage Commission

2005

• Distinguished Service award to Leslie Levesque for her outstanding contributions to individuals with developmental disabilities – North Shore ARC
• Volunteer Service award for exemplary community spirit, outstanding dedication, and extraordinary commitment to the enrichment of Salem – City of Salem

• Pioneers in Partnership award for vision and unselfish support in education, preservation, and promotion of the historical, cultural, and national resource of the Essex National Heritage area – Essex National Heritage Commission

• United Way Champions of Change youth award for their volunteer service to North Shore ARC
